Review- Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Eye Cream!!!

Hi Beauties, How you all been?

I'm back here to review about Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Eye Cream.
I have been using this from past one month or so and thought I could review this as I have given it enough time!
This is how it looks.....

Where do I start? I have liked this product as I had really bad experiences with eye creams.

Before I got this, I was using Body Shop eye cream which to be precise sucked big time!!
I have Body shop ones for few months, had no effect and was not even moisturizing my eye area enough :(
I was then on a lookout and found this. After plenty of research and reading reviews I splurged on this.

What it Claims:
A luxurious eye cream that repairs, revives, and strengthens the delicate eye area.
What it does:
This rich, concentrated cream is packed with peptides, natural plant oils, and humectants. An award-winning and best selling formula,it targets fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, puffiness, and dryness to visibly revive eyes. This product is dermatologist and opthamologist tested.

This eye cream is really moisturizing and little goes a long way. I have been using this for months and didn't hit a pan.

Did it work? I don't think so.... I have been using this religiously from past few months now.It moisturizes the eye area very well but I haven't seen any significant changes. It did nothing except moisturizing my under eye area and for that I think I can use any drug store brand and can as well save some money instead of spending so much on this product.

One Good thing about this product is little goes a long way and I'm just waiting to finish this stuff and move on.....
Its expensive and I bought it after reading some reviews. I have stubborn dark circles and the area around eye area is little dry but It did nothing to my eye area.

Girls, only advice I can give you on this - just get a sample and try it before you actually buy the full size and see if it works for you.
It worked for lot of people and I wish it did to me too!!
Oh well,so here is my review/rant about this product :)

see you all in next post!!

Review: Indian Healing Clay!!!!

Hello Beauties:

Happy Monday Ladies!! Its been a long long time since I updated my blog....

So here I'm back with a review post on Indian Healing Clay!!

I picked it up from one of the food stores (Wholefoods - one of my favorite store).I was looking for some kind of face mask and this looked interesting!! (You know I'm sucker of skin care products :) )

What it Claims:
Removes Impurities and dirt from the pores.

My take on this: I usually mix this powder with water and apply it on my face and neck.I leave it for 10-15 minutes and let it dry.It gives me a tightening effect as if its pulling all my skin together (in a good way!).

Washing off this mask can be very messy. It gets all over the place around the washing area. But on the whole I like this product and I use it once in two weeks or so....
When I use it, It gives my face a clean feeling, a feeling that all the dirt has been wiped off completely.

But on the whole I haven't seen any big difference in minimizing any blemishes and stuff. Could be because I'm not using this as often as I should? don't know!

You get lot of product(1 lb) and will last for many uses.

Will I repurchase: I think this tin itself will last me for lifetime, I don't think I need to repurchase.

I added last two pictures to show you how I use it. I mix a spoonful of clay with water and make it a paste. I apply it using Bare escentuals brush (which I'm not using for makeup) for applying this.I use same brush for applying my other masks too...talk about utilizing stuff..lol!!

I'm going to review one more mask that I have been using in my next post. But definitely would want to try Lush face masks, I have seen people raving about them. But all time favorite face mask would be a homemade recipe. That is another story for another time.

Do you have any favorite face mask?

Cya peeps with my next post :)

TGIF!!! New Maybelline Purchases!!

Hello All:

Thank God its Friday!! Have been waiting for this day from tuesday :)

What are your plans for weekend? I really want to have a relaxing weekend!! Might go to beach on saturday but other than that no major plans.

Here are my Maybelline purchases I made this week!

I was eyeing on their color tattoos from long time but couldnt get my hands on....finally I'm glad I did!!

I have done lot of research and thought 'Bad as Bold' is the best shade for my skin tone. If I like this I might consider to buy more.

This will be great one for everyday work wear :)

It is more like a Mac paint pot which I only own one. They are pretty expensive compared to these (around 17$ a pop). This one is 7.49$. So thats a big difference.

Since its buy one get one half, I bought one fit me blush in "Medium Mauve"

Sorry couldnt take pictures of swatches but this blush is not showing up on my skintone at all. Not only that it applies ashy :(

Anyways, I will  swatch both of  them in another post and by then I should be able to review too.

See you all in my next post!!

Lush Haul!!

Hola Beautiful chicas,

Note: I will be adding code given to this post as I have submitted my blog to a website. They want me to publish this code, please ignore!code: HHB8429JMKAH

This post is about my recent Lush Haul I would like to share with you all!!!

Visiting Lush store was one of my unfulfilled dream (trust me seriously!) from longest time though it is just 20 miles away.
Finally I was able to visit that store this weekend. It wasn't as big as I imagined,But have loads of stuff!! Got few goodies and here they are... (I enlarged pic to see items clearly).

I must add Lush SA was very very helpful and nice. I wanted to see face masks for sure as I saw people raving about them.

I asked for the same and also told her what I'm looking for, gave some info about my skin.

For oily, sensitive, acne scarred skin,(yes my skin :() she recommended Lettuce and Cupcake face masks and she applied each one of them on both my hands to see which one I liked better.

I liked cupcake better and also thought that is more appropriate for my skin. Detailed review on this later!
Then I asked her to recommend for my husband who has dry skin. She said oatfix would be great for dry skin as it has some oils in it...

I also picked up Ocean salt which suppose to brighten skin. It did when she used on my hand..wow. I had to pick it up!!

I also wanted a lip scrub from them which I have used couple of times since then and its amaaaazing!!Its called Mint Julips Lip Scrub.

This Lip scrub is highly recommended as I have used some crappy ones before.

I also applied cupcake face mask and my skin felt sooooooooo smooth after that.

I would say The pro and con for face masks is they need to be used in 3 weeks and needs to be refrigerated!! that means on pro side we know they dont have any preservatives....huge Plus!!!

My first visit to Lush store has been a good experience, loved the products, ambience and most importantly care for customer's needs by SA's.Hoping to go again!!

So this is my Lush story....hope you enjoyed it :)

More detailed reviews on these products will be in my upcoming posts!!

Have you been to Lust store? What are your favorite products?

It was raining cats n dogs in Miami and couldn't get much of an activity outdoor!! How was your weekend?

Cya!!

Review: Smith's Rose Bud Lip Balm !!

Hello Beauties:

How are you all girlies?

I'm going to talk about Rosebud lip balm which I recently got from Sephora! I have read about this in couple of magazines of how good it is and I really wanted to try.

So there I went to Sephora with a determination to pick this one up!!

0.8oz of Product

It feels really good on lips when applied and doesn't feel greasy at all unlike most of the lip balms.

See I already made a small dent in it :), shows how much I love this product.

Looks like this.. Has a slight rose tint to it but doesn't appear when applied on lips.

 Coming to Pros and Cons....

Pros:
  1. Feels good and applies smoothly on lips.It doesn't have that greasy texture which some lip balms has.
  2. Cures chapped lips.
  3. You get lot of product in that tin.
  4. Can be used on your elbows and any dry area of your skin.(Though I just use it only on my lips)
  5.  Doesn't have to keep reapplying.Once applied stays for a while.
Cons:
1.      No SPF
2.      Comes in a tin so you can’t use it on the go. Must use it with clean hands.
But the Pros of this product nullify all the cons :) This has become part of my nightly regimen.
Will I repurchase this?
Definitely may be not the same flavor, I really want to try original in this.

In the past, I have tried some finest lip balms like Jack Black and Sugar lip balms which almost has similar feel to it.But they are pricey for the quantity.

In short I would say this is the best lip balm I came across for the price.
I'm really looking forward to try Maybelline Babylips, have seen some great reviews about them.

I'm still looking for one with SPF for daily use. Do you have any recommendations?

Zoya Summer Nail Polishes!!!

Hi Beauties:

How are you all?  As title suggests,I got some new polishes and haven't got a chance to feature them on my blog.

As you all by now know I'm a huge nail polish Junkie and a big fan of Zoya Nail Polishes, especially their promos :) . Incase if you want to check them out, they post their promos on their Facebook page!!
I'm here to show my recent nail polish purchases from Zoya!! These are from Beach and Surf Collection.

I bought these babies when Zoya was running a promotion on their website, they were giving three nail polishes for $15 plus free shipping.
1. Zuzu - This was a love at first sight. This is kind of green with silver undertones and very shiny!! has very small silver glitter in it but not too glittery,on the whole looks very very beautiful!!

2. Arizona - Milky Tangerine color, very summery. I'm kinda disappointed with this color. Its not what I thought it would be...its more milky and less tangerine than I thought,Neverthless a beautiful color.
3. Wednesday - This is again bluish green, creamy ,again a cool summer nail polish.very beautiful!!

Here is the collage of all the snaps together for fun :)... Zoya mania...hehe
Hope the swatches are helpful!!

Have you purchased any new summer polishes recently? Do you have any recommendations? I would love to try on :)

Review: Clarins Multi- Active Night Youth Recovery Cream!

Hello Ladies:

How you been? This post is to rave about Clarins Night Cream that I have been using for  past 3months and  'm all set to review this baby.

This is how it looks...
What it Claims:
This info was picked up from their website. I don't have insert and the package box anymore :(
"Think of it as 8 hours of sleep in a jar. Clarins’ intensive, anti-stress treatment works the nightshift, when skin is most receptive to renewal. Complements the benefits of Multi-Active Day Early Wrinkle Correction Cream, Cream-Gel or Lotion — helping restore natural tone, elasticity and radiance for a more youthful appearance by morning. Use each night after Multi-Active Skin Renewal Serum".

My take on it: First and foremost love the way it smells. It has a nice flowery(jasmine???) scent to it and revel every time I apply.

I went to clarins store few months back and asked SA to recommend me a night cream. She straight away went and got this product for me.They have different ones for more matured skin.

Clarins store had some discount going on and I got this for $48.00(originally priced $58).

I got this baby home and was pretty excited to use it from the beginning(fyi... I loveeeeeee skin care products).

It applies little greasy but disappears into your skin as soon as you work on it. It gives the skin a well moisturized feeling which makes you feel that you are taking good care of your skin :).

From the day I started applying this, I have observed my face immediately after I wake up and it looks so fresh, moisturized and I seriously like how my skin feels :)...silky,smooth!!

Overall I would definitely recommend this product, I'm not sure if it has reduced any fine lines or not but it is definitely helping my skin.

I'm getting fewer pimples(could be some other reason too) touch wood!, my skin feels good and looks better than before....

I give some credit to this though I'm trying different things (face packs, diet etc..).

I'm also using Clarins brightener exfoliater in the morning which is also a wonderful product. I will review that some other time.

I liked both of Clarins products I bought and would definitely look for more from this brand. As I mentioned before what I discovered from Clarins is least it does is it might not work for you but will never damage your skin.

I just bought a backup for this from Sephora as its having VIB Sale...yayyyyyy!!!so you can imagine how much I like this product :).

Hope this review is helpful. Leave me comments if you want to know more about this product and also let me know if you have any recommendations of any Clarins products.

On the other hand do you like Sex and the City? I was watching movie part1 yesterday and as usual glued to although watched numerous times.....love those girls :)

Have a nice day!

Christmas Wish List!!!

Hello Everyone!!
It’s that time of the year, festive season, celebrations, holidays, good food, and of course our favorite shopping timeeee......

After seeing Indianbeauties's post on 'Christmas wishlist', I thought of doing mine too.
I bought very few for Thanksgiving as I was traveling and was spending time with family.

1. Good Pair of Jeans:
Would like to buy a good pair of Jeans. believe it or not, I don’t have a proper fitting jeans till now. tried different brands and I always have some issues with everything.
This time after thorough research I would like to try from one of these brands.
- True Religion
- J brand
- Rock and Republic.
2. Wallet:
My Wallet sucks big time and I feel like hiding under table every time I take it out from my bag.

Still searching for a good wallet, just a regular one nothing like fancy(loved Balenciaga wallets). Let me know what you guys carry or like, I will check it out. I’m totally confused after seeing so many online.

3. Mac Makeup:
This has been long due and my Mac shopping has been procrastinated from long time.

My list goes like this:
- Paint pots - I have watched lots of you tube videos on paint pots and really liked them. Never tried, should get my hands on….

 - Orange Corrector - You know what I'm talking about, yes I have terrible dark circles. Need lots of weapons to cover those.

- Brushes - I absolutely don’t have any brushes with me except Mac eye shadow brush. I want to get Mac 187 stippling brush. Lot of youtubers raved about it.

- Lippies - How can a makeup haul end without having lip products.

I need more than this but let me stop here :)

4. Boots:
As its winter, I'm looking for a pair of nice boots and this would be my first boots ever...totally excited!! Been to DSW (my fav shoe place) this weekend but ended up buying something else.

So this is my list, Let’s see how kind Santa is with me this time :)

On the other note have you guys listen to 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' - Thug le song? Its awesome!!

Please do share your list too....

Forever21,Body Shop,Clarins Haul!!!!

Hi Everyone!!

Here is my haul post asI promised earlier ...sit back relax and watch the show...haha

This time I tried my best to follow rules and get seasonal in my collection. Not being overboard but to an extent so that it fits into my work and personal life.

This post is not to boast and showoff of what I bought but to share my happiness with everyone. No negative comments please....

Let me start with Forever21:

Bow tie...cute:)

Have you observed, peter-pan collar with polka dots. There were so many of these in different designs(plain, diff colors etc) in F21 close to my place....love it!!
I have added picture of me wearing it.

Some regular T Shirts(nothing to do with seasonal fashion):
I liked that way they both looked on me and price was unbeatable.

Some Accessories:

Down side of yellow bracelet is, its not easy to take it out once worn.I wore this 2 days back and wanted take it off  EOD but I couldn't.Anyways it looks cute so no worries....

Body Shop:
I was in this store to check their Eyebrow and Lash gel.I wasn't sure how it works so thought of giving it sometime to think before I buy. Its not very cheap too ($15) so I'm gonna wait.
So while I was there, I checked some body butters and Body lotions.I just fell in love with Moroccan Rose scent and was wondering if I have to splurge $18 on tub.Suddenly I found a deal pack which included,Moroccan rose,Shower Gel,Body exfoliater Gloves and a loofah, all for $8.

thought this is a great deal for that price and I have never tried those gloves too.

I also bought this shimmer body lotion, tempted after watching indianbeautie video.
You can slather this lotion on your arms and legs especially when you wear something short....shiny and sexy look...haha!!

Last but not least Clarins:
I bought a Clarins night time cream and an Exfoliater.
This is my first time trying these products and I loveeeeeeeeeeed them.

Night cream has nice scent to it and applies very well.I'm religiously applying every night(hope I continue to do it) and My skin is definitely feeling better. My skin is looking so fresh and glowy in the morning.
Exfoliater has small beads and gentle. After washing my face, it really brightens and my skin feels so good. For now these two are being very good to my skin.
Nevertheless I stocked up on these as they were selling them for $10 here.
I found out least that could happen with these clarins products is It might not work but definitely doesn't damage your skin.

I also bought a summery evening dress in Macys.

I will review Clarins Products after few days so that I will have better idea of how it is working or if its working at all or not :)

Hope you liked my haul and post!

For now Sayonara!!!!

Have a nice day!
